The Aquarium range is ideal for the hobbyist with smaller aquariums up to 1000 litres. They are also suitable for other applications such as providing safe drinking water when camping used in con-junction with other filters. They are also suitable for hydroponics, horticulture and agriculture on a smaller scale.

The main body of the Aquarium range is much smaller in diameter as to create a “close proximity chamber” to ensure a high U.V.C penetration and therefore will have a higher level of bacteria and pathogen control. The units can be used in fresh and marine water aquariums.

Choice of unit

The aquarium range is available with or without a quartz sleeve and in this range we recommend the use of a quartz sleeve. See the benefits in the U.V Filtration write up. There are four sizes available in this range 8 watt, 15 watt, 25 watt and 30 watt. We recommend the use of the 55 watt Professional U.V for larger aquariums.
